Candour Therapy provides counselling and emotional support services.

Our sessions are conducted by qualified therapists, but they are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, or emergency mental health services.

If you are in crisis or believe you may harm yourself or others, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services (dial 999 in the UK), or reach out to Samaritans (116 123) immediately.

4. Booking and Payment

• Sessions must be booked in advance via our website, email, or telephone.

• Fees are payable prior to each session unless otherwise agreed.

• Payment details will be confirmed at the time of booking.

• We reserve the right to change our fees, with reasonable notice provided to existing clients.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a fee.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be charged the full session fee.

• If you do not attend your scheduled session without notice, the full session fee will apply.

• We reserve the right to reschedule appointments in the event of illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, and will offer an alternative time as soon as possible.

6. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential, and information shared during therapy will not be disclosed without your consent, except in the following circumstances:

• Where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

• Where disclosure is required by law.

• When working under clinical supervision (anonymised information only).

We comply with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework.

We collect and store personal information, including details provided during your initial assessment, to deliver safe and effective therapy services.
